Declan Harrington joined Ecologic Entomology in 2025 as a Pest Control Technician and is a Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources licensed pesticide applicator with Core certification. Drawn to work that is hands-on and engaging, Declan enjoys the problem-solving aspect of pest control, where attention to detail and critical thinking play a key role in achieving effective results. For him, the work offers variety and the opportunity to approach each situation with a thoughtful, practical mindset.

When he’s not on the job, Declan stays active through distance running, sailing, and longboarding, and also spends time volunteering. He’s naturally drawn to challenges and enjoys activities that are a bit outside the ordinary.

Originally from Salem, Massachusetts, Declan now lives in Beacon Hill after moving to Boston a few years ago. He enjoys the energy and pace of the city.
