Pill Bug
Order/family: Crustacea/Isopoda
Scientific Name: Common Pillbug
Description: Pill bugs and sow bugs are gray, 1`4” to 5/8” long, oval crustaceans that are humpbacked, appear to be covered with segmented armor, and have seven pairs of similar legs. Pill bugs can be distinguished from sow bugs because pill bugs are able to roll up into a ball when alarmed and lack two prominent tail-like appendages that characterize sow bugs.
