Indian Meal Moth

Scientific Name: Plodia interpunctella
Description: Adult indian meal moths have a 5/8” to 3/4” wing span. The wings are a burnished copper, almost purple, with a broad gray band near where they attach to the body. The mature larvae are dirty white, pink, brown, or light green, and about 1/2” long. The head and top of the first body segment behind the head are reddish to yellowish brown.
