Stinging Insect Control

If you are having trouble with some stinging insects hanging and flying around your home or business, we can help reduce and eliminate activity in nests and remove threats of re-colonization of over 150,000 living stinging species.

The most common stinging insects in Massachusetts are honeybees, yellow jackets, wasps, and hornets. Regardless of your specific stinging insect we have the pest management solution to get you, your family or customers back outside uninhibited by a potential hazard.  Most stinging insects are commonly active in late summer and early fall.  They are generally most active during the day scavenging for food.

We protect the Honey Bees as they are essential to our ecosystem, but we do realize when a bees nest is found near your house or business it can disrupt your family or customers.  We will always take the right approach to eliminate or remove bees from the unwanted location.

We are committed to keeping your family safe while also considering the effects on the environment.

Our Integrated Pest Management Plan

Wasps, yellow jackets, and bees are among of the most aggressive pests in the area. You can find their nests in the corners of your windows, beneath your awnings, under your porches, and below your decks. If disturbed, the entire colony may become hostile and attempt to inflict a painful sting on anyone that was unfortunate enough to come too close.

Common Stinging insects in Massachusetts

  • Honeybees-these bees are small and fuzzy with two pairs of wings. They are usually looking for nectar to make honey in their hives. They typically only sting when threatened. They are important to our environment and are carefully and generally relocated instead of eliminated.
  • Yellow Jackets-generally find their home in an aerial or underground nests, they are slightly larger than a common honeybee and have black and yellow marking along their thorax and abdomen.
  • Wasps-Are completely different from bees in appearance and habits, they are much more brightly colored, and able to sting multiple times if threatened, they build an umbrella shaped nest in the ground or above.
  • Hornets-Are generally reddish brown, or black and white and very aggressive than the wasp. Their nests could contain hundreds of hornets, made of paper and in an area protected or out of reach.
